So its the end of the year and the end of the decade (don’t argue its the end of the decade). Ten years ago the Apple Ipod was unleashed on the world, we were worried about Y2K tearing apart the computers of the world, 9/11 did not happen yet, I was under the age of 20 and drinking like a sailor. A lot has happened in the past 10 years. I know this past decade I have grown more as a individual then I did the previous 10. And I hope I can say the same for these upcoming 1o years as well. But it’s really a time to reflect upon the year. This was a year of great change for myself personally.
The biggest thing of course was that I left my job of coincidentally 10 years to pursue new ventures. The new year brings a lot of hope and planning and work and setting myself up for the future. This year I think I have learned a lot about myself, which I can not say I have been able to do every year. What lies for the future? Who know right. It would be no fun if we knew what the heck was going on. All I know is that I learned probably more about myself in the past 6 months or so, and learned so much stuff that will help me for my future. Great friends, great family, I can’t complain for much.
The things I look forward to in 2010. Making some money haha. Trip to Japan with my Grandma. My best friend’s bachelor’s party and preparation for his wedding, although the speech I am still worried about, I have exactly 365 days to figure that out. Learning more about the website and using technology. Iron Man 2. Seeing my friends race in their race car. Seeing my friend show his artwork at Laguna Seca. Being able to travel and work anywhere, well where there is internet. I look forward to growth, personally, mentally, physically. To the good food I will eat and the great memories I will make. To great music and some concerts. To the Sacramento Kings, Oakland A’s, San Francisco Giants, great racing in F1 and ALMS, tennis matches. To great beer, cool clothes, and sweet shoes.
Have a safe and happy New Years. The blog will be heading in a new direction for the new years as well. I can not sustain writing everyday, and my motivation and time put into it has been lacking. But I will try and integrate photography more into it as well as share things I find more as well. So here is to 2009, and even a better 2010
